Other Recently been victim to arson attacks which have completely destroyed the Main Hall plus a large section of a ward building.
On a cold and foggy day at the beginning of December I found myself with markr looking at the imposing fence which surrounds Severalls. Luckily we were on the inside quickly and the vast amount of houses which back onto the huge site had no twitchy curtains so we were safe!
Severalls is a huge site which has recently suffered at the hands of arsonists, leaving the Main Hall a burnt out shell. 
We started in the Sports and social club which being far away from the main building has quite a lot of damage inside and is now how to quite a bit of my blood.... note to self don't close doors by putting hand through broken window!
Before entering the main building we had a look at a villa this one was strangely call Eden! though it really didn't look too inviting on the inside.
Finding a way into the main complex was not as difficult as I imagined and soon we found ourselves wandering the immense corridors which seem to go on forever.
The nurses block is probably the largest one I have seen and seems to be 
more than 2 buildings one which is 4 storeys. The size of the place is hard to believe, and although the whole place has been totally stripped it is still a visit that will be among my favorites.
